Why should anyone believe a private company over a forensic investigation by the FBI?

Hmm, now why would I be suspicious of someone who (1) published classified and stolen U.S. information, (2) sought refuge in Russia, and (3) has been holed up in an embassy for several years to escape criminal charges?

Let me think about this for a while.

Remind me again how many times Wikileaks has had to retract any story / documents they've published due to factual inaccuracies, phony documents or any other reason.

100% accuracy is unheard of - truly unbelievable in this day and age.

Think about who wants Assange to be silenced.

I truly believe he is one of the good guys.

Serious question. How can we prosecute a foreign national for publishing documents given to them? He wasn't on US soill and didn't steal them himself so what's the charge?

Not that I'm against Assange being brought to trial, I actually hope it happens but would a US citizen journalist face charges and what charges for simply publishing the same information Assange has?

The pentagon papers was a case of journalism. Publishing the names of U.S. informants is not.

But it's, as far as I'm concerned, I like to take everything personally because you do better that way ... I imagine it's ending now," Trump said. "From what I'm hearing, it's ending and I'm sure it'll be just fine, and you know why it's going to be just fine? Because there was no collusion."
