TrumPutinGate

In other words you are nervous mueller can’t get it done now without Manafort and you are banking on the Dems and their impeachment investigations . 😂

After appointment of Trump's do-boy Whitaker I think it wise to have some mechanism to keep him in check.

All indications are and have been that Manafort was not serious about cooperating. With the lawyer agreement still in place with Trump, it was nothing more than a way for Trump to get a glimpse of what Mueller knows.

This Twitter tread is beyond my expertise and could be wrong, but outside indications suggest that Mueller and his team weren't born yesterday.

Manafort probably has visions of sitting on a beach drinking Margaritas after the Trump pardon without realizing that Mueller still has charges to bring against him of the conspiracy nature.

All Muler is going to do is issue an extremely harsh Communist inspired report in 2020 in order to damage President Trump and Republicans politically.

Muler and his Comrades will not bring any criminal charges against the President when the witch hunt finally ends.
You talking about the same guy who was universally heralded by republicans for his appointment until they didn’t like how it was going? Communist? STFU.

And oh by the way he isn’t tasked with bringing charges against Trump. But you know ignore that.

The same guy that was unanimously confirmed by the Senate when President Bush made him FBI director.

The same guy that said "I consider myself exceptionally lucky to have made it out of Vietnam. There were many—many—who did not. And perhaps because I did survive Vietnam, I have always felt compelled to contribute." In 2009, he told a writer that despite his other accomplishments he was still "most proud the Marines Corps deemed me worthy of leading other Marines."

I missed the part about him being universally heralded. Mueller had a lukewarm reception into this role by Republicans. Mueller has been smart and dirty for years.

It’s the most obvious way to tell someone who doesn’t want to entertain the investigation. They, not all but most, celebrated then now rip him. They just don’t like what he’s found or who he has chosen to help him investigate

The smears of Mueller are pathetic.

This looks like good news for Trump on its face. It may be.

On the other hand, Mueller and his team are not stupid, No matter how badly the Trumpists want to believe he’s incompetent. Also, I don’t think he will indict a sitting president without some really solid footing.

Honestly, I think he’s FOS.

I think what he is saying is this:

1. Mueller says Manafort lied.
2. Manafort says he didn’t lie.
3. Judge decides whether he lied or not which requires judge to make other findings.
4. Mueller uses judges findings against trump.

That’s not really a thing in criminal prosecutions and the way he’s talking about using it doesn’t make sense in civil cases, either.

Typically, to do that, Trump would have to be a party to the case (indicted) and would have to have an opportunity to put on proof in the hearing where the findings are made.

All that said, I am COMPLETELY ignorant of a lot of federal procedure, especially in conspiracy cases, and as I’ve never represented anyone with executive privilege, I’ve never bothered to learn that law either.

My thought is that this may be a way to ratchet up the political cost for senate republicans. I’m wondering if Manafort’s answers and Trump’s written responses are not consistent. Put Trump on trial by proxy. Make Manafort prove Trump lied in his answers. Then send it all to congress.

Then you weren’t paying attention.

Please give us facts on how he is dirty.
Interesting... my link has been disappeared. But anyway you know 9 agencies had to approve uranium one deal, fbi being one of those. mueller is dropping off highly enriched uranium to Russia in 2009.8A2AA78F-6B02-48CD-8BB1-08DD7A50524B.jpeg
The only problem with them dropping off seized uranium is the idea of the “ seized georgian heu” only pops up in this classified email.
Why do you suppose the head of the fbi would be transporting seized Georgian heu to kremlin officials for sampling?
Then there is Obama wanting to sign him on for 2 more years. Before that time he enacted a 5 year agent in charge rule. Why would you take the most experienced FBI agents and demote them, retire them or fire them after 5 years? Lots of reasons, only one of them core to preventing corruption. The fbi union filed a grievance over that rule. For mueller trampling over a few to get to the goal seems to be a theme.
I sure you are aware Lou gommert from Texas is not a fan of mueller either. I know he’s a blowhard but he brings up some relevant points in his report on mueller. Chance to take the time to look it up, it’s very interesting.

LOL. Dirty to the bone. Why would you take the most experienced FBI agents and demote them, retire them or fire them? Good question Nurseredhat. For Trump, trampling over a few to get to the goal seems to be the theme.

OMG...this thread is full of Jacob Wohl's....you wonder how do people get drawn in to conspiracy theories....are people really crazy or is it just confirmation bias? Needing to hold out hope that what they believe is real.
