I don't think Falwell represents Evangelical Christians. I'm not sure that's holding Trump up as an example. And I detest it when Christianity becomes a political tool.

I think it unfair to evangelicals to use that example to level what "evangelical Christians" do. You, lg and the rest should think with a little more specificity and a little less generalization. Pretty much every Christian I speak to either detest Trump completely or support him overall on political matters while considering him an amoral embarrassment on personal matters.

You know, it is possible that Christians can support a political leader on policies while decryong their personal life. You liberals claim to do it all the time. You just think that Christians shouldn't vote for anyone short of Jesus. (And in other words have us not vote at all.)

It's stupid.

Since Russia has evaportaed, now its time to move on to the next failed attempt. The attacks on Trump are not going to stop. And its becoming an utter embarrassment to this nation. Its brought out the worst on both sides. Its one of the main reasons I hope Trump doesnt win the next election. I honestly dont think this country is emtionally strong enough to handle Trump for another term.

I think this is were we get them mixed up , I come from a family full of southern liberals ( old Dems) They go to church regularly . It’s the progressive liberals like Luther that think Gop’er **** and lock the big doors and break out the Holy Ghost and snakes to be handled .
