Every police agency does this. Every day. And has for a very long time.

Somebody starts buying substances that raise flag for meth, the police open an investigation into whether or not that person is making meth.

Driving home after last call, cops follow random cars to see if they make a mistake; pull them over to see if they smell alcohol.

Terry v. Ohio, the original stop and frisk Supreme Court Case originated with the officer observing suspicious behavior, patted the guys down and found a gun because they were about to commit a robbery. I don’t remember when the actual encounter took place but the Supreme Court decided the case in 1968.

Yet Anonymous is praised and admired by the public because they realize that he is often the only person standing between them and total secrecy and corruption. Anonymous has single-handedly been responsible for many past investigative breakthroughs. Anonymous currently works for a vindictive boss who demands loyalty over all else and is willing to use every means available to destroy anyone he feelz is not loyal. Anonymous understands that the public desperately needs to know the hidden truths and that many times he is the only avenue to accomplish this. Anonymous frequently risks personnel well being for the greater good. Corrupt administrations live in constant fear and paranoia that Anonymous is going to be working among them.

There are many who will continually discount the invaluable role that Anonymous Source plays in the free and accurate flow of information but these people invariably have an agenda that Anonymous disrupts. At a time when the POTUS is an habitual liar, gives zero weight to factual accuracy, constantly attempts to destroy the media's credibility, shows unethical favoritism to one outlet, and has an ongoing objective of gaslighting the nation, Anonymous Source rises to almost mythical status.

It's only 95% about Trump and that is because currently 95% of Anonymous Source's relevant information is either directly or indirectly related to Trump.
Plus, we currently live in a world (like it or not) where everything is filtered through the Trump prism.

I trust most journalist who work for a legitimate outlet far more than I trust sources like the scum who set up the Go Fund Me account for the wall. Trumpers instantly anointed him as some great American. He was lying scum with an agenda...... to enrich himself by taking advantage of the gullibility of the far right.

I can think of a couple dims that enriched themselves only after becoming politicians. Trump didn’t have to become a politician to become “enriched”. Far more WORKING Americans are much better off today due to Trump than the worst president in history, Barry Soetoro, made them. I understand your feelings are hurt but time heals all wounds.

It is not easy to get my mind around the fact that the FBI began an investigation of the President of the United States for suspicion of being a Russian asset (which is completely consistent with how Trump has conducted himself - see the Helsinki press conference with Putin and the recent removal of sanctions against Deripaska). I know that the Trump minions on here will follow Trump's lead and attack Comey and the bureau for supposedly being biased against him... but this new bit of info still remains absolutely staggering. This is a first.

Isn't it something how the redhats had zero problem with the FBI (to the contrary, they were talking up its investigation of Clinton, which was totally cool) until it became apparent that the FBI was investigating Trump. And suddenly it was an out-of-control institution which no one can trust.

Amazing.

Clinton hasn't been investigated like she should be because of all the people protecting her.

This would have been like saying in March of 1974: "Well, the Watergate investigation has been going on for a year and a half now, and there is nothing pinning any wrongdoing to Nixon." How about letting the Mueller investigation conclude first, and then reading what is in his report before passing judgment? Shouldn't be hard to do, unless you're biased of course.

Our definitions of "nothing" are obviously different.
We can only let it to continue to play out, consider the findings of the investigation, and go from there.
I have confidence in the process. If you do not, maybe that is a sign which you are refusing to see.

The Trump supporters are not going to want to read this report. Their strategy will be to attack Mueller, without any proof, for being biased against him.
