Trying to keep my brother from regretting his college choice

I guess my OP wasn't quite worded correctly. I just want my brother to be happy. If he's content never playing another snap so be it. I just don't want him to get a year down the road and regret it. This is more about him doubting his abilities than it is him not wanting to play anymore.

That's fair but if it's just walk on position for D1 then I can totally see why he would want to skip that offer unless he wanted to get into coaching.
