I disagree. With Tua there, we had no chance.

With Tua gone, we were one stupid bonehead play away from needing a defensive stop to have a chance to tie the game.

There is no way Tua would have blown as badly as Jarette with out offensive line. Did you ever even see him when an opposing team got penetration. He almost always made them pay.

WE came as a bought and paid for package. Crazy ass dad, Tua, and Threea. WE can move, but someone else will have to pay, dearly.

Yup.. Everyone should pump the brakes on this Tua gone business. Bryce young, top rated dual threat QB going to arrive soon in Tuscaloosa, and besides a couple of pick 6's against Auburn, Mac Jones looks pretty dang good. Then there is Three-a. My Bama buddies have always said he's better that Tua. But they said that about Eli too didn't they?

Lot's of folks blaming Saban for keeping Tua in that MSU game too long. My contention is that the game has changed and if you go back 40 years or so, Saban would easily have taken Tua out. Because of playoff committees and Heisman votes, these days style points matter. Pad those stats, so at seasons end, you look better than say...Oklahoma. Yes, it was still the first half, but knowing what was coming down the stretch - the Auburn game- Tua should have been resting and giving Jones some reps. That game was in the bag. Saban was trying to overcome the LSU loss the best way he knew how, and that was to get his QB a bunch of touchdowns and run up the score.

Tua should have hung up his crimson cleats after the first surgery and focused on getting right for the combine. Pissed away millions for Little Nickey.

Fair points.
I don't look forward to go against Bryce Young, but I still like the way our defense is improving. It's clicking. And they're recruiting very well for the schemes.
