Anyone know what the "tyrant" Putin's poll numbers are in Russia? He is more well liked than any current US politicians.

You also have to keep in mind there are practical reasons for them to **** on this interview as well; it's because Tucker got the interview and they didn't:
The Russian president has not sat with a Western journalist for an interview since his troops invaded Ukraine nearly two years ago. The last time he did so was in October 2021, when a correspondent with CNBC spoke with Putin for 20 minutes on the sidelines of an energy conference in Moscow.

I mean, there's nothing wrong with wanting to interview Putin. Everyone wants to. The interview is also being aired on a platform they hate (Twitter) by a guy who no longer works for an establishment media company. It's the same reason they **** on people who write on Substack, even though some Substack writers get more hits than people who write for the major media organizations. They don't like any kind of situation where they can't gatekeep.

The questions about Gershkovich at the end are hardly softballs, but I doubt he gets credit for that from the usual suspects. That's the only clip I've seen so far. Once I put my kid down and clean up around the house I plan to watch the whole thing.

Did Tucker nuts call him a dictator to his face like he's done in the past? Did Tucker accuse him of believing he can just take what he wants like he's done in the past? Of course not. He tells you he likes trump. Private convos show he loathes the man. You guys love a liar.

I have never heard him say he likes Trump, so not sure where he lies. He supposedly supports his policies and the two can be exclusive.

Funny because Trump usually has a personal grudge issue when felt betrayed, yet has no issues with TC.

Now to the truth, you may be correct that is all for show. I never expected Alyson Camorata (sp?) and others like Joy Reid, to go from hardcore conservative to raging liberal just from changing employer. Frankly, not sure how those people live with themselves. It does make one question them all.

Only watched the first several minutes. Please tell me this isn’t a 2 hour long history lesson on Russia for some justification for invading Ukraine. Weak

IDK what to think about that interview other than I wasted 2 hours. Tucker did what I figured he would do and give Putin a propaganda platform and Putin played the victim. Not everything Putin said was incorrect but refusing to give details of US aggression and bad acts makes him look like a conspiracy theorist.
