Really??

Florida losing to Vandy would result in a minuscule RPI bump?

Don't be "that guy".

We need all the help we can get.

Vandy beating Florida?? Yes it would be a VERY minuscule RPI bump, so minuscule that it actually wouldn't improve our RPI ranking, just our RPI.

And my question was simply if you're mentioning that game why not mention South Carolina/ Mississippi state game, A&M/ LSU game,Wake Forest/ Nc State game or St. Louis/ Xavier game? Why solely the Florida/Vandy game?

To keep the list of games somewhat reasonable and to most importan ones, I didn't include teams who would impact our RPI...because like I said at this point of the season the RPI game is literally minimal off other teams games.

BTO, would Florida losing to Vandy not hurt our RPI since we beat them??? I know we beat Vandy too, but Florida was in the top 10 when we beat them. I will admit that I don't understand all the RPI stuff anyway.

No. The only gains from those teams you get is when they win it improves your SOS. The way it figured is all your opponents combined record, so any team we played twice helps us more because you basically get 2 wins added instead of one.

Hope that makes sense.
