My favorite Blues Guitarist is Buddy Guy. For me He is the GOAT. I won't get into argument with people who wanna argue such things, because music is subjective. He had the ability to shred it when he was young as good or better then Hendrix, but he also had the voice that matched blues perfectly. As he's gotten older arthritis has hurt his skills, and his voice has changed, and yet he still is my favorite. It's about the man himself as much as anything. When everyone else was shouting division in 2017, he was calling for unity among all races... he bucked the trend. I saw him in Nashville at the symphony center, and he all but called out the different woke groups to the shock of Nashvilians.... he showed himself to be a very wise and gentle soul. Anyway I wish I could find a video of the speech he gave between sets, but I can not it was incredible. But this is an example of his wisdom and singing...I love that man. (no homo)

Skydog is my Second favorite Blues Guitarist.....I can only imagine the career he'd have had had he got to grow old. You don't have to convince me anything about Duane. He would win if simply playing was my only criteria. He had that touch...Duane Allman played rhythm while Johnny Jenkins played lead. Ain’t nothing more to say bout blues guitar players
