TV, movies, music, Books and whatnot.

A Bridge Too Far was almost a great film. Fatal failings were in casting Gene Hackman as a Polish officer and Ryan O’Neal as Brig. Gen. Gavin. O’Neal has only a brief few moments of screen time, but he is so awful, not even Robert Redford can salvage the scene they share.

We could have a pole to see who liked the remake of True Grit better than the original or at all. If the remake gets more votes, I'll be glad to publicly announce those people have never seen the original or just aren't true John Wayne fans.

Thinking that the Coen brothers made a fine film detracts nothing from the earlier film or John Wayne’s masterful performance.

Original True Grit, to me, is better than the new one. Just can't reproduce or out do the Duke.... Pilgrim!

I liked how that one ended. I would absolutely want to do the same thing. That's wrong 😁, but it's how I'd feel.
You'll like Chicago Fire too, maybe even more. I like errbody on it. One of the relationships kinda gets annoying at times, but thats about it.

It gives you a good idea how Hank was and then how he changed.

The Dungeons & Dragons movie was tolerable. There’s a character for Joe, a character for Souce, and Behr’s character has the last spoken word.
