TV, movies, music, Books and whatnot.

I’ve watched and appreciated The Wire.
Best police show I have seen by far. I am biased Dad's people are from Balmer Merlin. We'd visit family during the 80-90's during the crack thing. My great great uncle's place was like this little of garden of eden behind a Rowhouse in the midst of a city dying.....had a gorgeous garden but just three streets over was gangland. The show fing nailed it.

Homicide: Life on the Streets was better than the average cop show in its day. Many that followed were inspired/influenced by it.

It's not a cop show, but the Mrs and I like Bones.....just cause the character reminds me of some people I know. Autistic as ****.

I watched 18:18 of The Wire before turning it off. I'm not watching trash that uses the f bomb every other word.

"This mother f***er is a bad f**ker that can **ck sh*t up. That's right mother ****er."

Yeah, there's definitely carpet f-bombing in this one.

Completely different type of show, but "The Commitments" was the same. My mom would have loved it, but no way would I have taken her to see it, just because of the language.

Yeah I don't mind cussing and even if it's a little much I can tolerate, but it seemed like I heard 18 minutes of fawk.
