Yes to all. SCIENTOLOGY. I just find it interesting that it was in the background like that in 1973. The first time I had ever heard of L. Ron Hubbard was in 1984. It was those commercials for his book on Dianetics that seemed to be on every commercial break back then.
 
L. Ron Hubbard was a wannabe sci-fi writer with little talent for it. He despised taxes and sailed around on a boat with a collection of hangers on for years, trying to avoid them. Given that recognized faiths pay no taxes, he devised Scientology and petitioned for recognition as a religion until he succeeded.
