While we're on the subject, I enjoyed every season of Fargo. The 5th season was shaping up to be my favorite, but then episode 8 I think, the puppet one, and it too went downhill with the exception of a couple of scenes, and finished with a whimper. If I ranked it by it's ending, I rank it last.

Still enjoyed it overall.

I think that's about the only choice they had to end it
I do not really remember Season 4....might do a rewatch of that one
