@Behr I was a big fan of Mom. I knew a lot of struggling alcoholics, many of whom have gotten sober. I felt Johnston’s over the top acting in the series was very on brand for quite a few struggling addicts, but maybe that’s just my experience.

I understand, but it wasn't necessarily the over the top acting as much as it just seemed like she was trying to imitate Farley.

That said, it only lasted for a couple of episodes. After that she got into her own and it doesn't bother me anymore.

It's one of those shows I can understand people not liking it, but I like it.

I will never tire of legit first time reactions for people going from sweet summer child, to men and women of winter.



Also these guys are fun to watch, one is based out of Nashville and the other Memphis...where else you gonna hear people talking about "junts" :D These guys remind me of classmates back in the day.
