Yes because he would explain to you who is real and who isn't but the Duttons and Elsa is not real historical characters. Just like you can't say Elsa lives too 85 because she is not real her story is what ever the director wants it to be.

I said TS went into great lengths about a real life badass cowgirl from history and that’s who I think he based Elsa Dutton on. And if I’m right she won’t be dying till she is 85 years old. He wrote Charlie into the show. There was a real guy named Charlie but he wasn’t in that area at the time of the show. The Sherrif played by billy Bob was based on a real guy with the same name. But he too wasn’t around the area at the time the show has him there. So some inspiration is closer to truth than others but everything is from the mind of TS. Nobody is real. It’s a show not a documentary

It would be a damn shame if you could understand what you read and not pitch fits or try to argue about things that are irrelevant. If you want to talk about the show then I’m cool with it. if you want to have a bitch fit over nothing I’ll just ignore you.

I think the opening seen could be a nightmare. But if true or not is up to the writter because unlike Charlie or Tom Hanks or Billy Bob Thornton or some of the older men the characters are not real.
