I don't like any "new" comic books too woke, I would recommend old ones... If you are a throughtful type I have enjoyed all the Cerebus phone books, lots of social comentary and lots of dry dark humor. Can't go wrong with almost any McFarlane series, and I like the old 70's weird tales/horror comics, Obviously I like old war comics as well. I also liked the GI Joe Reloaded, as a darker more realistic Joe verse, that makes Cobra actually appealing and dangerous, and fairly believable. ....that would make a movie that didn't suck. Being it's behr though I think we may be limited on subject matter. So Garfield comic strip maybe...or Peanuts.

Nope I say woke about everything that pushes woke narrative for the sake of it, instead of just being entertaining or having continuuity in the story. You know it's happening, you can pretend to be offended, but it doesn't really change the fact that's a thing now and inparticularly in comics, video games, and other traditional nerd refuges from dumb political correctness, and midwit fodder. The whole reason comedians like Bill Barr and Chappelle are so funny is because they make fun of the obvious idiocy of it all. If it was an imaginary thing no one would laugh.

I’m not offended, and have no idea what is happening in comic books or video games since I am an adult.

Woke jumped the shark a while back.

I am old school, I like comedians like Don Rickles that rip on everyone. Barr and Chappelle as well.
