I don’t think TS planned a season 2. He’s already doing 1932. It seems to me like he was planning a limited series but everyone wants more information
So do they start out in the fall with the 2 episodes as kind of a "prequel" to 1932? Basically follow starting the ranch and following the folks in Oregon?

And he seems to indicate that 1932 will be its own thing….sort of

HAS 1883 BEEN RENEWED FOR SEASON 2?
Earlier this month, it was announced that Paramount+ not only ordered more of 1883, but the streamer also revealed plans for a series titled 1932, which is known as “the next chapter of the Yellowstone origin story.”
“With the brilliant mind and gifted storytelling of Taylor Sheridan, we have created an entirely new world to explore with 1883 while expanding Yellowstone,” President and CEO of ViacomCBS Media Networks and MTV Entertainment Studios Chris McCarthy said in a statement, “and with 1932we will open up a new chapter in this rapidly growing universe.”

@VolNExile
did it ever occur to you that the entire system of handmaidens in the story is pushed by religious nutbags, but, the point of the handmaiden story from the Bible is a lack of patience and/or faith in G_D by Abraham and Sarai?

I feel like Slice deceived me. She didn't make it to 85.
That's how theories work. He's not the one who deceived you, it was whoever it was that convinced you Slice was presenting facts. Oh, and you for not knowing any better.

Next season, Jamie Dutton goes to Paradise, Colorado to petition the resident alien to replace painful memories with pleasant ones.

Yep.

Also, if the story were later in time, it would resonate with the railings by Amos and others about the sinful treatment of servants and the powerless in general by the rich elites.

I hate to keep at this but he said it came from a story he read from Tyler Sheridan but he couldn't find it no more. I digest.

This is a really good show.
June manages to show true faith in G_d through her trials and failures
I could not be more impressed with it
