I was a big fan. Partly sentimental, loved the original when I was a kid and I want to live on Hawaii. Scott Caan was great as was the rest of the cast.

I’ve never watched the new one. I need to check it out.

They were filming the original when we were there. All the Army officer wives got all fluttery at Jack Lord sightings.

Just finished episode 1 about an hour ago, eating some fish and gonna watch a couple more.

Silly, but he had already told the Navy guy that he didnt like Hawaii or the beach, he liked the city and skyscrapers. Then they were sitting by the water and he said it was his daughter's home and it was his job to keep it safe. It was a cool scene.

Yes, definitely on my "to watch" list. Hopefully this week. Supposedly it is in the same lineage as the "Sinister" movies, which I loved.

We've had Breaking Bad that spun off Better Call Saul and both were/are good series. I would like to see another spin off that shows the history of the twins and Hector.

We watched it when it came out. It's horrible, as in the story, but an eye opener for kids. I don't mean that it was a bad movie, just bad that crap like that happens.
