TV shows you wish would come back/be remade

I used to watch Werewolf on USA.

It had a damn creepy vibe.

Tales was good and some wasn't Monsters...which I am sure you remember too.

On a side note, and completely different, I would love to see Night Court remade.
You can find some of the episodes on YouTube, and it's still creepy. They were going to try to release the series on DVD, but the first episode has a scene with music from Mike and the Mechanics, and they wouldn't agree to licensing terms (and for some reason the dialogue is combined with the music for the scene so they can't remove the music).

I would mind that HBO program from the 1980s-early 90s "The California Bulls" being remade. I enjoyed that show.

Twilight Zone? Better thread title might have been Past Shows That You Really Enjoyed. A lot of good shows have been mentioned in this thread. And, we loved them for the original cast members, the plots of the time, the time frame in our lives that we viewed them, the impact they had on us via comedic interaction, personal interest or social content relative to that particular time in our lives. The only ones that I see that could survive today, if done well, would be the sci fi oriented shows. Tales, Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, etc.

You sir....

Are correct.

That show was called "1st And 10." It starred a very young (and very hot!!) Delta Burke. Other people who were in that show at one time or another were OJ Simpson, Shannon Tweed, John Matuzak, Marcus Allen, Brian Bosworth, etc.

All in the Family, I believe, has been tried over and over again to no avail. Under different names with modern, nicer characters, they just haven't hit.

Things are too PC for that show ever to be remade. It has as much a chance of being remade as Amos&Andy

Space Ghost Coast to Coast. The show that single handedly created Adult Swim

I loved Sealab 2021 on Adult Swim.

The episode where they do everything in pitch black darkness and its only voices was brilliant.

--------------

The first 5 or so seasons of Aqua Teen Hunger Force and The Brack Show.

Original Adult Swim was about as good as it got for young adult humor back then.

I also loved Frisky Dingo, which explains my love of Archer.

Surface

This ended with so many damn cliffhangers.
What happened to the guy that loaned the submarine? Also who survived the tsunami? How many other people have been cloned?
I wish this tv show would get brought back if not remade.
