IDK...I was in your camp for a while but then I realized it's here to stay....so I got over it...may not be original...but some things get better as time ages....I've begun to like it....it's so easy to yell it at the top of your lungs...it's like an enormous howl that blasts through a stadium(our fans have to be in it tho) and can bring on cold chills for us or a sense of heart break for opposing teams ...jmho.

Go Vols....Best bama

My wife has a set of those cheap ones that I think I got from a game many years ago and she shakes them alot in our living room during the game. Yes, it's quite distracting.

In time I too may be able to get past it. But!
It’s just so base. And frankly strongly redneck. Shows a lack of intelligence.

Not sure anyone can say there isn’t a “woo”. I don’t know about you, but every single UT event I have been to and some none related events such as concerts and restaurants in Destin (McGuires), I have heard a woo. I don’t believe the actual song and UTs version have to be the exact same. It’s UTs stamp on the song and it works beautifully. GO VOLS!!!

The players do it. They practice in 90+ degree heat and take beatings on the field to bring wins to this program.

If the players do it, we do it.
