Yeah, same phenomenon on these boards, en mass, as posters fall prey to defending agendas. If the assumption is one cannot change one’s status, on the practice field or these boards, if he should leave, you need to seriously consider it.

Merk is pretty good. I know it’s hard to see past the stars though. George will have quite a bit of work to do physically before he’s ready to see the field vs SEC competition; he can probably add weight quickly but there’s zero way you want to put him on the field as a freshman. Brandon when and if he gets here is very young but very physically talented. Unlikely he challenges for the starting position as a freshman. Bottom line Merk will likely be just fine. Idk that a lot of people realize just how small GMac is right now.
