I agree with this. Georgia may be the most talented team in the SEC East (and arguably even in the SEC), but both Mullen and Pruitt are better at developing that talent than Smart IMO. We still have to get "close enough" talent wise to beat them, but it's certainly possible if we kept getting recruiting classes like this.

Florida kicks our ass next year. Mentally we can’t compete with them. I think they are the favorite in the East. But...we beat UGA and Oklahoma. And really push Bama. And we lose to someone we shouldn’t. 9-3.

Maybe some of our fans can’t mentally compete with UF but Pruitt and his team will be good and ready to WTMFA

Hope you’re right, Ron. It’s just we mentally fall apart every year. It’s inexplicable, really. I’m gonna need to see us mentally compete with UF for at least 5 years in a row before I predict a win.

The D-line haul and the DB haul is among the best ever at UF, certainly since the Meyer days. Mullen also added great players at WR and signed the best LB in Florida in 5-star Derek Wingo. Oh, and added two other consensus 5* players via transfer which you won’t see in the rankings.

The only disappointment today was losing safety Tae Williams to Miami. That one hurt because most thought he was a lay-up to Florida. UF wanted Beckwith too, but being honest, that would have been nothing but greed on UF’s part as they’re loaded at TE. Kyle Pitts is the best TE in America and Keon Zipperer is a stud who’s next in line. Congrats to UT on Beckwith, he’s a stud.

Damn dude, the way you are talking next year they should be winning the East, winning the SEC Champ, and in the playoff next year or the year after...

We had up to 2 from what some said in mid January. At this point it sounds like just 1. Mays must have gone on scholarship asap. Sounds like VJJ is being kept open and not on scholly just yet, so he can still blupeshit.

We appear to have been able to backcount signing spots (not initial counters) since we only signed 24, maybe even 23, last year.
