'20 TX RB Zachary Evans

I watched Kiffin on Finebaum today. He wasn’t thrilled with his class. He said they will have better classes. Finebaum said there’s still one out there you can’t talk about by name but are you done. He said no we’re not done. We will look at JUCO and essentially free agency of transfer portal. Said there’s still guys out there.

I vote we stay away from this one.........However, I do look forward to the return of Jeremy Banks as our starting ILB next season....

The confirmed stories out on ZE almost confirm him as a terrible teammate. For example, left the state championship game bc he wouldn't give up his cell phone as per the coaches policy......

IMO, Banks has suffered the consequences of running his mouth off the field, just as Bryce Thompson did. There isnt any inclination that he could potentially ruin a locker room....in fact, many of his teammates have supported him through this process..

I don’t understand, maybe you can enlighten me. Banks was arrested and said they shoot cops where he is from. The subject of cops, hazing cops, and police brutality is one of the most polarizing subjects the past few years. That’s why the national news media picked up the story and condemned Banks.
What did Evans do? Certainly not anything worse that we know of at this time.
He lost his grandfather who was his role model and the guy that likely would have steered him through this process. His words not mine. I can give each kid another shot at any perceived or real wrongdoings or acts of immaturity.
How is Banks ok and Evans not? I’ll hang up and listen...

Hope that doesn't mean OM tho.

Reading the entire story about Evans reminded me a little of myself at that age. Not the talent or games he's playing but circumstances and the directions he could end up taking.

Too many out there without the proper guidance. Personally, I don't really think Lane is the right choice for this kid.
If not UT, at least somewhere with the structure he needs. But, as always, his call in the end.

At this point he's be crazy to verbally commit any where. And if he did... I'd bet against that being the place he wins up...

I think it just means he doesn't expect evans to make a decision tomorrow.
