And lucky for us that Evans is guaranteed to be healthy all next year.rb2*
Tiyon Evans playing in a much better conference with a much worse offensive line. Looking at their stats, they look very similar.
Both thru 5 games.
Tiyon
- 7 TD’s
- 6.4 average
Zach
- 6 TD’s
- 7.0 average
He would help though
I can't stand this dude...I don't want him near our program. I'm pretty sure Heupel can find more guys like Tiyon Evans out there. Why am I not surprised at the drama of removing TCU from his Instagram, making cryptic statements, and then an "All is well!"
Said it after UGA tore up his NLI, he is a problem.
Yes and no. Culture matters more than most people want to admit. It depends on WHAT baggage it is. If it is baggage that erodes the culture of the entire team then I don't care for much talent they have. It won't be a net positive in the long run. I am not saying any of that specifically about Evans because I don't follow him enough to know about his baggage. If you can get Zach Evans you absolutely take him. 100% without a doubt. If you want to have a chance at competing with Alabama and Georgia, you have to take guys like Zach Evans. Beggers can't be choosers. Not all guys with elite talent are going to come with no baggage. You take who you can get.
That's what you want! A crowded RB room is a healthy RB room. I assure you Georgia and Alabama have crowded RB rooms. With more RB depth maybe we win the Ole Miss game?Evans, Small, and Tiyon would be a crowded rb room tho
I actually agree with what you're saying. I'm a big culture guy. Think it has a lot to do with why we are playing better right now than we were a year ago despite losing so much talent. I just like the idea of bringing in talented guys and giving them a chance. If he hasn't matured since HS and is a problem, you give him the Salter treatment.Yes and no. Oh yeah, we were using our 3rd-4th & 5th string running backs at one point. The only RB besides the walk-ons I believe who has yet to see the field is Derrick Henry 2.0 :\.Not really. Heupel prefers to use 3 RB's every game if they are competent. This offense should go even faster next season allowing 40+ carries a game to be distributed. Also, look at how injuries have affected us this year.

If you’re talking about Demercado and Miller then I can’t help but laugh. Neither of those guys are pro RB’s lmao. Miller could be one, but again the only team they’ve played worth a damn is OK.
Is he a stud? Absolutely.
Would he start here? He could.
Just start using actual facts to support your argument. Don’t say, “well Zach plays with 2 other pro backs (doesn’t) and “he is the leader for the Doak Walker award” (yeah, just like 2535 other RB’s right now lol)
There’s honestly no reason to argue over this considering both are good athletes.
