'20 TX RB Zachary Evans

All the kids should get as much money as they can possibly get as quick as they can possibly get it.
Yep. It could be life changing for many of them. And if they make good decisions with it, they can be set for life. If a player makes $2 million over four years and invests 500k of it in a brokerage account. They could have $3-$4 million within 25 years before any other cash or money they earned in the workforce.

Not sure what me saying that you and my Dad both had the same description of BKs car has to do with my Dads car. He was the Sales Manager at a VW dealership and drove a Karmann Ghia. But anyway.......
Beautiful.

I don’t know if he is legit interested in us or not, I know first time around he gave us a look, very weird recruitment back then, but hopefully he will make the visit and who knows… but he would show out in this offense, every string of our RB looked good or solid, but no game breakers yet, the closest one we had apparently quit going to classes and was banged up all year.

But my point is he is very talented and if given the opportunity our current stable had this past year he would have had several break away TDs. Hopefully he comes here.

I really hope we can land some difference makers thru the portal on Off and Def

Honestly, if it comes down to who can pay the most, I'd tell him to piss off, which probably is why I'd lose as a coach. Well, maybe not in those words. I'd sell him on the opportunities here, but this sort of situation screams trouble. It's one thing in the NFL, where there's a clear demarcation line of this being a business and you get paid solely to do your job.

I'm perfectly happy with kids getting paid in an environment where other people are doing so at a high rate. It's merely the motivations of a kid to come play for you. If it's "Well, I like the other school, but I'm going here because I can get 9 deals here and only 5 there.", then I'd rather not. In the end, he has to play ball and I prefer guys who want to play ball here.

Evans is a talent, no doubt. I hope he comes to Knoxville. But, if his #1 question is about money, then pass.
Wait a minute! Are you not the one I just responded to in the other thread about not understanding why fans care what they are getting paid? Then you come here with telling top players to piss off if it’s a bidding war???

Since you’ve posted everything else, how about the 25 max carries per game? Would think Heupel’s offense is much more accommodating to that desire.

Yep he's not asking to dominate the ball and doesn't want to be ran in the ground.

Just reminiscing here; but imagine a little college kid making demands like that of Coach Majors back in the day. LMAO!

Hell, RBs are a dime a dozen.
What we need are OLinemen to pass block.
Because we're gonna be slinging it all over the field.

No, I'm talking about the specific regarding about this kid. If his primary deal is whether or not he gets paid, then, as a coach, I'd tell him, thanks, but no thanks. I don't care if he's gets paid, but, if he's only here as the result of a bidding war, then I would advise the coach to not bother. And, this isn't due to my concern over the dignity of the game, but the effect on the team.

Regardless, if he's gets paid more or less, it matter absolutely none in regards to me watching the games or wanting the best players to play here.
