As a player you know your "rating" by the recruiters who visit with you. You need to commit to the best available to have a decent spot available to you. But life goes on and other opportunities may come your way. Run a 10.27 and yep - better options become available along with the corresponding NIL money. Business decision.

Evans is really good friends with former Arkansas QB Lucas Coley who just transferred to Houston (might be some bad blood there) so guess this shouldn’t come as a surprise but Pittman hasn’t had many decommits period at Arkansas so that kinda sucks. Him visiting OU so quickly might be telling.

I just wonder, why do we offer a guy who has already "hard committed" (as the article states).Seems to me the "horse is already out of the barn". I would think trying to catch the guy before he gets out of the stable is a better way to spend time.
And on the 3rd day, the recruiting gods created flips…
