The AD released a letter earlier this week stating that UT would self-impose sanctions, but that it would not include missing a bowl game.

Vols won't impose bowl ban, await NCAA ruling

Sources told ESPN that the university does plan to self-impose penalties other than a postseason ban such as a reduction in scholarships and other recruiting restrictions.

Nothing is official yet, but I take this as a good sign that the NCAA won't add anything. Fingers crossed....

I'm not certain why you would interpret anything as "a good sign that the NCAA won't add anything." Schools self-impose penalties all the time. That's never proved as a reliable indicator of how the NCAA will react. The failure to impose a postseason ban may actually make the NCAA view these as lax penalties.

My apologies. It was just starting to seem like people were clinging to players that didn't want to be here, clearly that wasn't the case. I get where you're coming from. I HATED losing the talent that we lost. Having coaches that can actually coach up talent has been an unbelievable breath of fresh air.

I guess someone taught him how to stay vertical after first contact...
I thought about that as he was breaking first level tackles. He came to UNC to "play for Mack Brown". Now he believes, and he made the difference today.

Glad he's balling out somewhere.

I thought he was decent RB but he was too inconsistent with his play here whether that be scheme or himself. I also feel like he was always banged up a bit. But anyways, I always thought he'd be a good pass catching back
