I've thought the same thing for the past year and a half. He has all the attributes to be a beast edge rusher, I just don't believe he's put it all together, yet. Will he ever, who knows? I do believe he needs another year in college to further progress his skill set. If he isn't careful, he'll have a couple youngins passing him on the depth chart!

I feel like Baron has not shown NFL talent at all yet. Really doesn't have the quickness or bend to make it to the next level.

Whatever he decides I hope it works well for him but I’d love to have him one more season - especially with Byron going pro. We signed some very talented edge players but they need to play behind a guy like Baron for a year.

Baron plays the SDE opposite standup defensive ends like Young, Harrison, Josephs and Pierce. He has the size to move to the 3 Technique on passing downs. That’s what he did vs Pitt on the sack-fumble by Slovis. Right now, we only have Bailey and West to back him up.

It would be a win-win for him to come back.

Baron would probably improve his draft stock coming back next season and good luck to him in the bowl game.

I didn’t realize he was that banged up . If it’s a question of longevity he should certainly go. His second contract would be his 💰💰contract anyway.

Tyler Baron has a chance to return in 2023 and make a legendary name for himself, plus radically improve his draft stock. Come back young man ... come baaack.

Tyler Baron, needs to come back and get in the weight room and get stronger and faster for the NFL. Who is feeding these kids the advice to go PRO. Banks won't get drafted. Tyler needs to come back on work on his "Edge Rushing" skills as he has NO BEND going around the corner.
