Tyler Bray 6/14/14

One of the biggest duds ever.

You may not like him. You may feel that he didn't give his all while he wore the orange. You may not have liked his personality, but that doesn't make him a "dud".
Duds usually don't start in the SEC or make an NFL roster.

I have my doudts that he will be on the roster this season UNLESS they put Murray on the P-U-P for the season.

He was able to beat the former Iowa q.b. out for the 3rd q.b.slot last year but Murray is not a free agent signee like the former Iowa q.b. is. Murray is a draftee.

Daniels knows the system, even though he has physical limitations. Murray was a draft selection, so they likely won't cut him, so Bray seems to be the odd man out, unless he can be head and shoulders better than Daniels in pre season. He has the physical characteristics. He just needs to get better in the other areas.

Late round QB's get cut all the time.

What could David Cutcliffe done with Tyler Bray? What could Bray have done in college if coached by Cutcliffe?

It did not work out that way but Cut resurrected Ainge and could have easily made Bray into a high value 4 year qb with the Vols.

As someone said, if Wilcox would have stayed (IMO, the best DC we've had since Chavis), and if Cut would have been the HC or OC....things would have been MUCH better around here.

Cut has definitely proved he is worth his salt.

Bray didn't play with any intensity consistently. He played and acted like a frat boy out to have a good time. He laid down on his teammates and laid down for Kentucky because he didn't want to go to a bowl game. My dog was more mature than Bray was during his time at Tennessee.

No just a fan unlike your type that want to hate on players that played for Tenn.

1. I gave you a like because you made me laugh.

2. Please explain how I am hating on TB, dude was a baller, I particular like the way he would occasionally rub it into opposing teams faces after scoring.

3. It was just a joke, no disrespect to the poster. Relax kid!

Bray is going to play in the NFL-PERIOD. He has finally grown up and I dont give a rats ass what other people think about him- he has MORE potential and talent in his pinkie than A Murray has in his whole body - Murray had consistent coaches and even if you do not like Richt, Murray had the luxury of running the same system -Murray won't be able to sniff Bray's jock strap.

I wonder how many Georgia games you watched during his time there. Though I despise UGA, I think Murray is outstanding.

True. And if Cut were the HC, he may have "cut" Bray from the team for being, well, being Bray. .

No disrespect for Murray, but we only saw glimpses of the talent Bray has. Not having good coaching was a detriment. I saw enough of TB to see the potential he had. He is working with one of the best in KC in Reid.. He will start in the NFL eventually. Just MY take...

I think that Michael Sam would be the most likely to want to "sniff Bray's jock strap." Murray was the better qb in college.

If Coach Cut had been his coach we would've been a 10 win team and he would've been drafted . Unfortunately, we will never know and a bunch of idiots will get on here and talk smack about a guy that was far from the biggest problem, especially when we were at our lowest point.

Just speculation on my part but, I think if Cut had been here, the Bray attitude would not have been.

The thing about Bray to me is when they comment on his stats. In three years he didn't play against the good/hard teams very much at all!

This fanbase, for some odd reason LOVES to cannibalize it's own. Bray had immense talent, and had an unqualified goober for a HC. Despite putting up sick numbers, 2/3's of this fanbase want to lay most of the blame for the team's fortunes at his feet.

It was DOOLEY'S sinking ship that 80% of the staff bailed out of prior to the 2012 season! If Wilcox had stayed, we would have had at least a decent defense. That means we would have beaten UF, UGA, SCjr, Mizzou and probably Vandy. That's 10 wins!...not counting a bowl game.

Defenses not only keep the other team from scoring, but they put the ball in the offense's hands more. Our offense had to carry a bigger burden than they should have.

Bray played well enough for us to win 10 games in 2012. The defense played bad enough that we should have lost more than 7 games. But some of you back-biting saps don't know any better.

and we would still have Coach Chavis and Coach Fulmer :) and maybe a National Title or Two more, life would be good :hi:

I agree, Murray was pretty dang good in college. I was hoping the Titans would draft him besides Mettenberger.
