I'm appreciate that somehow you insulted me during the day long argument that you had which proves you need a job or a hobby.
I understand after taking to the PM's to defend hatvol some months ago did not stop me from mocking him, that you had reason to engage in ad hominem so as to receive the e-high fiving chortles from the 4chan crowd.
This thread is funny now because:
1. It has Hatvol missing again on a player as he so often does (JP Prince, Melvin Goins, Tobias staying in the Big East, and Maymon being fat and not worth a scholarship which I think will prove to be quite wrong)
2. It has the news that Tyler picked up an offer from Virginia Tech, a team who hatvol says is top 10 in the country.
3. It has BPV spending all day on the site to argue with someone...
Unfortunately I think it is a different thread where Hatvol says that San Diego State is a better college basketball job than UNLV. He claims to be friends with Lon Kruger, but thinks it is clear that New Mexico (possible and I think headed for great things with their new talent including E-Man), BYU (a school that has to rely on Mormon guys being good which means their ceiling is as high as a Fredette can take them) and even the Aztecs are a better job than UNLV...
As of 2009, UNLV is the fourth-winningest program by percentage (.712) in Division I history — ranking behind Kentucky, North Carolina and Kansas, but ahead of UCLA, and Duke. UNLV is 33-16 all-time in the NCAA tournament with a .673 winning percentage. In July 2008, ESPNU named the program the eighth most prestigious collegiate basketball program in the nation since 1984.
And San Diego State? Well you know they got Kawhi Leonard right? And...a few three stars as opposed to two stars who make up the majority of their roster.
Oh yeah also "It reached the national championship in 1939 and 1940, losing in the final rounds. However, in 1941 SDSU returned and won the college's first national title." Wait but that was not when it was a member of the NCAA...
Pathetic the gumby like contortions hat goes through trying to defend statements like "UNLV is the 5th best job in the Mountain West".
See bold. As to my existence here, it's purely fun for me. I'm not trying to make anyone feel good or even remember who I am. If that's tough for you, deal with it.I'm appreciate that somehow you insulted me during the day long argument that you had which proves you need a job or a hobby.
I'm just fine with my job and my hobby. We don't all have the horsepower to be an attorney and write mindless tomes on the interwebz.

This makes no sense whatsoever. Your mocking has generally made you mocking worthy. Note the dumbass scorecard nature of this silly post.

Absurd. JP put together a run late and underperformed for the vast majority of his UT career.
2. It has the news that Tyler picked up an offer from Virginia Tech, a team who hatvol says is top 10 in the country.
prognostications are worthless as tits on a boar, but you seem to try to continue keeping score over yours. Not to mention, in a post littered with your bragging about your prognosticating capacity relative to someone else, you told me about my trying to garner e cred and said that I need a job. Ironic, no?
3. It has BPV spending all day on the site to argue with someone...
maybe your laptop has clock issues. Get that checked. I will admit that I am fortunate to get to spend most days as I see fit.

Really? A freaking scorecard? How sad is this and why the hell is hat involved in this response?

Relevance? Maybe you have a similar blind spot to the one you accuse Hat of having. I'd say yours is for Hat and basketball in general.

WTF are you talking about. More drivel to keep your score tabbing rolling?

Again, WTF are you talking about? You don't need to keep score. People can make up their own minds about quality of basketball thought being put out by posters here. The fact that you feel the need to continue to talk about your picks and dog someone else's constantly says a lot about your position, yet you talk about others' e-cred grab. Let it go and contribute.

Nicely done. HF, anything new coming out of the Bledsoe saga?
Nothing new on the NCAA side. The Alabama schools super and local school officials are wanting to open an investigation of their own on the matter. As far as the NCAA goes, I guess its a wait and see approach. Bledsoe was cleared by the clearinghouse, and then again passed an extensive review along with 200 other athletes from last years class.
This ordeal with the coach and the money will be the kicker in the end, one way or the other.
Is Cal in the clear on this thing? It would seem like it unless they can tie the money Bledsoe was receiving for rent somehow back to Cal.
I do believe that UK is in the clear, because at the time this money changed hands, Cal was still coaching at Memphis. Meaning, if Cal did arrange that money transfer then it was on the behalf of Memphis.
However, if it is tied to Cal then it will still obviously effect UK unfortunately. But yeah, the only hurdle left (I can see) is the cash.
And if it so happens that it is connected to Cal and UK goes down, the NCAA and their sanctions will be minute in comparison to the hell he will face from the Harlan/Pikeville faithful.
TO ME, the rent money isn't all that big of an issue (but I'm sure it is to the NCAA).
I would think the grades would be the deciding factor on this one? It does seem awful fishy the improvement he had his senior year but my guess is there's no way in hell they'll ever be able to prove anything. And who knows, maybe he did earn them.
