Is Hassell still on a roster? I haven't heard anything about him since he was with the Bulls.

He might be with the Nets. He played with the T-Wolves for a couple years too. I like to keep up with him because I originally went to Austin Peay to play football (until I realized how bad everything sucks over there) the year after he left so I kind of keep up with him, or used to.

Tyler's professional career will be dictated by his ability to adjust his mentality. If he can handle going from a primary option in college to a guy who doesn't get sets called for him in the NBA, he'll make the League. If not, he'll end up being a starter in Europe, which isn't a bad gig.

Its safe to say he was a better role player anyway. I don't think he embraced being the go to guy to well this year. Forced a lot of bad shots. Call me crazy or misinformed, but i thought he looked better playing the point in a game i can't remember. He drove, dished it and looked like he knew what he was doing. When they ran sets for him, he rushed his shots.

If Tyler does go, it's definitely time for Brian Williams to put up of shut up, as I imagine the starting five next year will be Goins (or Maze)/Hopson/Prince/Chism/B-Dub.

That will be the worst outside shooting team in America.

If Prince can somehow find a shot during the off season, I think we'll be just fine. It will definitely clear the lane for more offensive potential. I don't think our front line will be awful. I think Chism will be playing his natural position with Tyler gone if Bruce decides to play it that way.

prince developing a shot is asking for the miracle of all miracles

Surely to God he can develop a 15 shot jumper that he can occasionally knock down when his defender is standing under the goal refusing to guard him.

Why is everyone continuing to believe 22 and 23 year old guys are going to miraculously develop jumpshots?

I'm not saying he would ever even be close to being considered a good shooter, but that he could just be enough of a threat that the opponents don't stand down under the goal when he has the ball. And he surely had to shoot better than he has at UT in high school to be ranked so highly coming out.

His shot now is what it has always been and will always be.

So who thinks he actually comes back next year? If Smith can get dratfed in the 1st round then maybe I should enter the draft as well....

We all knew this was coming back at the beginning of the season. We were lucky to get him back this year too. Wish he could have gone out on a better note.

Still, best of luck at the next level tyler

I agree emain.
but had he come out last year he would be making money for a year or 2 and be done as he was not ready but I am not sure he ever will be.
