Depending on which coach the Vols hire, the players that the Vols already have can win more than 15 games easily.
Inside game? I think the Vols lack of inside game is due mostly to the inability of the coaching staff to implement a game plan that utilized the talent the Vols have. Furthermore, I don't think the staff did a very good job developing the talent either.
Patterson should have gotten much more touches this season. He led the team in shooting percentage and rebounding. He was the most solid and consistant contributor in the low post for the Vols this season. Patterson was the freshman of the year at UCLA before he transferred to UT.
Hendrix got in Peterson's doghouse this year, which didn't really help Buzz out at all. Hendrix averaged 6.8 ppg and 6.2 rpg last season while shooting 52.5%. Started for Clemson as a freshman before transferring to UT.
Asumnu is one player that I feel that Buzz failed. One of the most highly recruited players to attend UT, his playing time has not given him time to develop. Asumnu was rated as one of the Top 10 prep school players in the nation.
Wingate showed flashes of brilliance this season when he got the chance during Crump's injury. He averaged double figures in points during that stretch. He was rated as one of the top 50 players in the nation in high school by some publications.

Now, looking at guard play. Watson is one of the best pure point guards in the SEC, if not nation. And Lofton has proven to be a star in the making. With hotshot Scooter out at the end of the season, Lofton was able to show his stuff... averaging close to 20 pts per contest during that stretch.
Other players not developed by Buzz include 2003 Tennessee HS Player of the year Dane Bradshaw and a couple of freshmen guards in Smith and Howell. Similar to Lofton and Bradshaw being player of the year in their respective states.... Howell was a finalist for player of the year in Alabama.

If the Vols still get Tyler Smith, Matthew Dotson and Damien Harris to come, and they make the right hire as a coach..... then I think they will definately win more than 15 games next season.
The talent is there. A new coach with a valid system is what the Vols need.
Lose some players and make the wrong hire, and the Vols could be looking at a rough season ahead.
