Not near as much as every sane person here looks forward to your departure from this site.

Not big on hoops. Like watching my favorite teams. I dont pretend to know jack on the intracacies of the game. But I did see this post coming 3 miles away. That much I can agree with.

We need Smith to stay really bad. Chism I would like for him to stay too. Speaking on Chism's inside game well whatever you call it, he reminds me of Rasheed Wallace on that standpoint. Really just too soft to play on the inside.

We really need Tyler to come back next season, he never hit a game winner, but he certainly plays with heart and we need his swing man abilities back to make a nice run next season.

I think he should stay, not as a bias vols fan, but as someone who heard about all the hype of this season going in and seeing how he never really lived up to it this season, he has the potential to come back and completely dominate if he makes the right decision

I hope he stays. For one, who would take the leadership role? This year noone stepped into being a leader unless it was Tyler and he didn't do that a whole lot this year. He fills the stat sheet and for anyone who wants him gone doesn't know the first thing about basketball. So any news on him hinting to what he is going to do on leaving or staying?

Wayne's stock has to be falling. His limited athleticism becomes more apparent every time we play.

Seriously? I mean there are numerous shortcomings we can point out in Chism's game. Some are glaring. His athleticism is not even near the top of the list of things holding him back.

Wayne will be the typical early out to the NBA. He will not get a high draft pick and will make his money overseas. Facts are facts. He is not the dominant player as evidenced this year. The high school cream of the crop plays in the big college programs. The college cream of the crop goes on to the NBA. Tyler is a good player but his cream doesn't rise that high.

There is just not something right about that.....

They were looking similar to a team the last 10 games. If Tennessee can get everybody back and Maze/JP can improve on their game, and the role they play on the floor.......if...if...if...if

From the end of last year, to the end of this year, it has gone up in my mind. I don't like the show up one night, and stay home the next. That is what will keep his stock down.

At the end of last year, I did not think he would play at the next level.(NBA, Europe, anywhere)I think that has changed now.

Remember Vincent Yarbourgh. Talk about up one night and down the next three! Tyler is getting a little old,I think 25 in his next b'day. He might need to go before he gets much older, but Chism had better enjoy his time on the court! Not sure he can play at the next level anywhere! Hope he stays and improves his stock,he seems like a good kid!

Tyler has the best chance at getting good money this year. He should definitely head to the NBA.

Sorry, I realize this is digging up a bit of an old post but that statement just seems like a huge stretch. Did you watch Wallace play at UNC (the apple to apple comparison to what we know about Wayne so far)?

While Sheed will never be confused with the greatest rebounder of all time, his FG% at UNC was probably vastly superior to Wayne's due to taking higher % shots inside and he was a much better interior defender. I'd also venture a guess that he took less 3's in his entire career as Chism did in the OSU game alone.

I heard that Smith has had some problems with his kid and money issues thats why he was going to go pro. Does anybody know if this is true or not?

You don't care if Chism returns? We need his inside presence next year.

i have heard several coaches this year say that us having a 5 man that can shoot the three makes it difficult to defend us when Chism is hitting..... he is definately of value to the team and without him we would have lost several more games this year.....

that being said i think the point is that he is a solid college player but not really a pro prospect

Agreed. We need him back.

I hope Smith leaves

You are an idiot!
