Nobody argues that cost isn't a problem and not sustainable. It's the notion that Obama's plan will fix it that most find laughable.

I agree. I can't understand why these democrats are so in love with his plan? It's like they want to pass anything so they can say, we won.

And you are correct. They want to be proud of their 'monumental achievement' and all that crap. Personally, i still don't envision this crap amounting to anything at the end of the day.

Its not about making health care better for the American people. It is about more government control.

That is why they are so eager (as in trying to pass something before Jan.1) to pass something, wiether its good or not.

A bunch of bs spin. There's no question health care costs are out of control, but it would be better (imo) to improve the health care processes and mandate some type of cost control and procedures to eliminate the excesses vs setting up a federal health care program. We could also avoid "bankrupting" the federal government by trimming all the fat in Washington.

days before bush addressed the union= yellow(because he was doing such a good job.

3 months leading up to his re-election. Honey its all over Fox News, Yeah the terror alert is RED RED RED RED every single day RED. oh my god the terrorist are gonna attack, were all gonna die, american public buy plenty of food, get safe shelter, and for god's sake VOTE for bush because changing presidents during this severe level terrorist time period is certain Death for all americans.

Now those were some scare tactics, Obamas administration scare tactics sucked compared the Bush administration.

I'm not defending Bush here at all, yes he used scare tactics. The left hated Bush for these tactics and demonized him and yet here we are confronted with Obama using scare tactics and all you can think to do is defend him by pointing out the previous administration did similar things? Another example of Obama failing to bring the change he sold to the American people yet the left still clings to him as the answer to our problems. This is true irony.

Obama's scare tactics suck compared to those of Bush and this is the example you use? Suggesting we may be at more risk? Obama is telling us we will go bankrupt if we don't implement Obamacare. He is telling us the nation will fall apart if we don't buy what he's selling, and this isn't the first time he's used this exact tactic.

For the record the I'm not for this health care reform. I AM for health care reform, but this just doesn't seem like the best plan.

I just though it funny that he was getting blasted by a republican for using scare tactics

No my post was an obvious exaggeration of the what americans were going through during those years. Please don't try to deny that the graph and the raising and lowering of the terror levels weren't obvious scare tactics. I didn't pay that crap any mind, but i know alot of people that did, and thier were similar reactions.

So your defense of Obama using scare tactics to push socialized healthcare is Bush also used scare tactics? When are you all going to move on? I have breaking news for you, your socialist president and communist congress, Bush is not president anymore and has been out of office for about a year now.

I claim none of them, I only claim those who care about America, care about national security, a free market and small govt. Your communist leaders care about none of these.

Things are changing no doubt about that. Only thing is most Americans are starting to realize they don't like this kind of change.

What is the best plan? Go to whatever hack liberal blog you use and bring back the beat plan. Hopefully you'll add back the free lunch option.
