Not sure what the best plan is. But ill take obamacare over the current system of overcharging people for healthcare and then denying their claims when they actually need it. I've seen it first hand and it BS. The health insurance companies make car insurance companies look like genius saints. Too much profits being made from people dying.the majority of american people have health insurance so if the current system was working then public outcry to keep it would be far to much to even get obama care in the house. Changes need to be made maybe not exactly what is being proposed but the caring, healing, and lives of people in america shouldn't be a way for businessmen to get filthy richWhat is the best plan? Go to whatever hack liberal blog you use and bring back the beat plan. Hopefully you'll add back the free lunch option.
you sound like the people crucifying the oil companies. I've asked before but do you know the profit margin of these insurance companies? I mean their spread must be huge if all these people are dying like you say

My point is if the american health care system worked and the public was happy with it we wouldn't even be having this discussion.
seems pricing is the issue but it is with everything. Don't need to spend trillions to fix that.More than eight in 10 Americans questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey released Thursday said they're satisfied with the quality of health care they receive.
And nearly three out of four said they're happy with their overall health care coverage.
But satisfaction drops to 52 percent when it comes to the amount people pay for their health care, and more than three out of four are dissatisfied with the total cost of health care in the United States.
Of course people could make better choices with their money but personal responsibility has never been part of the Dem platform

Insurance companies have a very small profit margin, but why are libs so against people making money? I want everyone in this country to make as much money as they can. Where are all of these people who are dying because they don't have health insurance? No one dies due to not having health ins. anyone can go to a emergency room and get cared for. Obamacare is a socialist if not communist takeover of more of our economy
This is part of the problem, and probably part of the reason why greater than 80% of americans in the poll utvolpj posted were happy with their care. IMO, this shouldn't even be argued because it is a mute point. It's aiken to saying, "the system is fine because nobody goes without when they really need it", yet costs continue to rise and people are still having to choose between bankruptcy and healthcare.
