I just couldn't agree more, maniac. The two-thousand-teens could well go down in history as the decade of negativity. Although a product of a minority, negativism is becoming a prevailing shaper of attitudes everywhere one may look, and the results are just more negative attitudes. For myself, I'm glad I'm steadfastly sticking to pumping sunshine and keeping a smile on my face every day. There are far enough problems out there, so what good really comes out of being "realistic" when being that way brings others down. You can find me by the sunshine pump. I'll take high test, please, and GBO!:salute:

You would be reading me wrong if you thought that. Kinda like thinking we are the only fanbase that turns on coaches, players, etc. when things don't go our way. Big difference in following where a recruit ends up to play college football and worrying about what they think. I learned a long time ago, it's not my job to control what other people do or say. Besides, kids generally share a brain and just repeat what other kids say. Not a lot of thought behind these comments.

If you want to see WHY we were voted most annoying just read back through this thread and you'll have your answer. A bunch of borderline fans who have no clue what they're talking about. It is annoying but beyond that it's actually sadly hilarious.,,,

Remember, Jones was 4th, maybe 5th in line for the job if you include Gruden. Think about this. Year 1 he got here about a month before signing day.and did ok job. The next 3 years were pretty stellar recruiting years but we failed to meet expectations this year and we have people caling for his head.Now recruiting has fallen off and we're wondering why. Positive fanbase = good recruiting. Negative fanbase = lesser recruiting.

Through the years I've learned that the recruits read message boards, more specifically this one. I think this works for us just as much as against us. Us as Vols fans have to learn to channel that passion and not be so negative when things don't go our way.

Texas, Auburn and UCLA 2016 signing classes say not really. The signing class may be affected by the fact that most objective observers can look at our situation and see that Jones will probably not be here 12 months from now.

How would they see that? The administration seems quiet. No major donors are making noise in the media. The only thing they have is the shrill voices of irrational fans having hissy fits and spreading gloom and doom on message boards and call in shows.

Widespread reports of underachievement from pretty much every national and regional media outlet and even some local outlets coupled with a lackluster recruiting class. BTW our donors have never made noise in the media except for one land developer who was tied to the hip with Fulmer.

So he is in trouble according to the usual subjects that thrive on creating a crisis to get website hits and nobody in a position to say he is in trouble. You further reason that the reason we have a lackluster recruiting class is because everyone sees we have a lackluster recruiting class. I guess that makes sense to some people.
