Part of me thinks he was legit. AV is definitely legit and was hearing similar things. I think multiple things could’ve happened: Gruden trolled us / we wouldn’t give him the control he wanted / Currie never took seriously the people who were actually talking to Gruden and then ruined everything with the panic Schiano hire / the Raiders simply made a Godfather offer. Maybe a combo of all those for all we know.

Regardless, those were some of the funnest times on this board and those who missed out ain’t doing this message board thing right!! Hubbs went to the damn airport for Christ’s sake!! 😆

Sorry my phone keeps acting up, might be the owner. 😁. Gruden thread was golden in 2017, MIT was so entertaining. Second is the OC search last season.

Only concern with him is he’s very raw. Has only played one year of football. Which means it might take several years before he can be relied upon.

I think Simeon Barrow could be one to watch. If you reread his thread it’s pretty impressive and it was kind of a surprise that he committed to Michigan State when he did.

I agree, very raw. Might take a year in the system but I can see his potential. Really like the kid.

Anyone else off the left coast now that they figured out DW? Figured with it being a night game we might get a few surprises in from the west coast.
