UAB - Memphis

Heading out for some pre-game wings and beer then over to Bartow Arena to watch the game.

The last UAB/Memphis game I went to ended with the Blazers knocking off the top-rated (then) Memphis.

We also had a different coach then...

Yeah. Last year when Memphis came back from the dead (Blazers thought they had the game won) and won the game some Blazer fans got chippy with the Memphis players and a near riot ensued.

Oh yeah....Joey Dorsey wasn't a happy camper. Memphis this year will be bringing 2 extra security guards and 2 extra Shelby Co. police officers with them. It almost got very ugly.

About this game..UAB is a very good team @ home. The guy the Tigers need to keep a eye on besides Vaden is Delaney, this young man can play. He was about the only guy that was a threat when Memphis played them at Memphis this year. This team is a good shooting team and a very exp. team. Vaden and Delaney are both 5th. year seniors. Should be a good game.
