It appears not only are teams interested but they have already sent the sophomore running back official offers.
Vandy 247 has been able to confirm that now former Blazers running back Jordan Howard has received an official offer from the Vanderbilt Commodores but he also added offers from Wisconsin, Louisville, Indiana, Marshall, Middle Tennessee State, Southern Miss and Western Kentucky as well.
Yesterday it was reported by 247Sports national recruiting analyst Ryan Bartow that Jordan Howard and his fellow receiver Marqui Hawkins would be taking an official visit this weekend to Indiana. Howard could be looking to officially visit four other places as well before making a decision and Vanderbilt might receive one of those visits.
Vandy is a place that has room for Howard as they are in need of running backs on their roster after seeing the departures of Brian Kimbrow and Jerron Seymour during the 2014 season.
Howard had 306 carries for 1.587 yards during his 2014 campaign. He also produced 13 touchdowns on the ground with another coming through receiving. Howard would be immediately eligible for the 2015 season.
