I don't mind the bow - I find the vehement denial that it was bow as disturbing though. Fess up.
Exactly. He bowed . . . no big deal. Just don't insult my intelligence when there's video footage.

You'd think we could train 10 or so snipers to fire in unison to kill the captors. I know there aren't 10 of them but doubling up is always better.

I think I heard that they are in a covered lifeboat.

still it seems like they could have a couple of guys w/ 50 cals trained on the boat in the event that the captain tried to escape... surely they could have guessed that he would try?

The fact that people in this thread listen to Savage and think he is in any way informative, lowers my opinion of this forum immensely.

Try this, send the SEAL team over underwater and drill holes in the bottom. Time is not their friend.

Evidently, everyone got the same memo. Driving today heard two commentators (Boortz was one) referring to the Somali pirates as Muslim pirates, or "Islamic goons." And then bitching that Obama, the Secret Agent Muslim, was treading lightly because of that. What utter garbage. These guys have been doing these pirate and hostage raids for a decade and no one has ever claimed it was terrorism or political.Posted via VolNation Mobile

Yea, it is so common that our SOS can laugh about an American ship captain being held by said non-terrorist.

Why don't they just pay the 2 million dollar ransom? We're just printing money anyway. In a year they wouldn't be able to get a nice meal in Mogadishu with it.

There's another guy who is worse with the political shock jock approach. Can't recall his name, but he's on very late. He just starts yelling every 5 minutes. Its almost funny.

Mark Levin? He has sort of a whiny voice, and seems to have trouble controlling the VOLUME of his VOICE sometimes. The dude is going to give himself a heart attack if he isn't careful.

Levin isn't on late, his show runs from 6-9 pm and he's already had open heart surgery. The only late night political talker I know of is Alan Colmes. I think Mike Malloy is on late night too, but he's a flaming liberal and should be right up lawgator's alley.

Andrew Wilkow's show is rebroadcast on Sirius 144 from midnight to 3am. His regular time slot is noon - 3pm. He can get loud, but his approach has nothing to do with shock value.
