I think it was a joke about the hot weather at the game. He said something like, "but you can't ice the kicker here." So a lame pun. Which is why the apology.

Or that's how I interpreted it. :)

Hearsay, but I read that Mora basically has one foot already out the door at UCLA. He's actively seeking another NFL job. He did sign a big extension though, so who knows.
