What a horrific call on that Kickoff Out of Bounds penalty!? How in the world can the official looking down the sideline miss that call? On the replay you can see the ref standing less than 5 yards from where the guy touched the ball in bounds??? :wacko:

It's probably the same guy that missed the offensive pass interference just prior.

The TD and the kickoff were by the same judge. I'm still curious why they never showed how the UCLA defender ended up on the ground.

From what of the game I saw, offensive holding and offensive pass interference are calls not to be made when FSU has the ball......(pregame meeting of the officals/source):blink:

I was commenting mostly on the last TD that the UCLA defense gave up. It was just pathetic.

You're right though. Unfortunately, that's what you get when they let Conference USA officials call the game. I never saw a replay of the supposed pass interference call on FSU, just heard the announcers talking about it. After seeing the same guy botch the kick out of bounds call even though he was about 10 feet away, I don't doubt that he wasn't blowing calls all night long though.

i went to bed and it was 26-23, right after FSU blocked that punt.
i wake up and it was a beat down. magic.

Giving up a blocked punt for a TD, an INT for a TD, a long pass for a TD and becoming allergic to tackling in the 4th quarter is usually a good way to get yourself hammered.
