I don't think they are good as people thought they were. Which makes Tennessee look even worse.

Also, we had to pull away against the Gamecocks at HOME. We should have beat them by 20.

How the heck did we get so bad? We have talented kids.

Seriously?

Connecticut RPI is 23rd ours is 137, pretty sure that falls under the category of good win. Florida is the only higher team we have beaten.

What are you talking about?

And who on gods green earth are these talented kids you are referring to? It's pretty easy to see how we got this bad, we were a first round blowout NCAA team.

Lose: Hopson, Harris, Williams, fields, bone and goins

Gain: washpun, yemi, Richardson, miller and stokes.

That should say enough. We lost a lot and gained very little off a team that wasn't even that good.

What were you expecting?

Thats the problem, he doesn't know what his is talking about. UCONN was a top 12 team when we beat them. I hate when people start these threads with no knowledge of what they are talking about! By the way, we may have beat USC by 20 if Stokes didn't hurt his wrist.

I'm still trying to figure out what this talent he's talking about is? And what he expected?

We weren't good last year, get blown out in first round then:

they don't know ---- about the game. no way we were going to the dance this year. NIT? maybe, with a lot of hard work. it will be a job to finish with a winning record to go to the NIT.

Vs Vanderbilt

We're 12-12 if we don't win 4 of those that's a horrible finish. IMO 16-15 should be worst case scenario and would be taking a step backwards.

Someone been in the shine again.And the talent is where.We may have maybe 4 SEC quality players and explain how that translates into being competitive in any conference.Our kids are playing hard especially at home but continue to have major problems on the road.Pearl like Fulmer left the cupboard pretty bare

Yeah, Tennessee has so much talent they were picked to finish 11th in the SEC preseason.

(By the way, Tennessee is currently tied for 7th. Thus they are actually exceeding the expectations of people who actually understand the mess Martin walked into.)

Really?? if we win 4+ of those ill be extremely happy. We arnt very good on the road...infact were very very bad.

My predictions in bold above.

We would have to beat LSU on the road or Vandy at home. LSU has played up and down, but if they are up they beat us in their house. I expect Vandy to start clicking toward the final stretch of the year, theyre very talented.

In addition Arky is solid, and even though USCe is not, again that game is on the road. so you never know.

UF will be tough
Ark is horrible on the road just got beat by uga by 20
Bama is very beatable without arguably their best player now
Ole miss just isn't that good, if we play our game well win
Lsu could be tough but I think we should win, they just aren't that good
Sc as we saw is bad, play good you win by 20
Vandy could go either way, I expect our guys to look for revenge

some people don't remember last year. imo if we finish above .500 i consider this to be a successful year. not that .500 satisfies me as a fan, but given our situation after last year...GBO
