Just in case you have Not heard yet, Texas beat Stanford, welcome back to the party Lady Longhorns, it has been a long time coming. It appears that parody has finally hit the ladies game. UCONN might win it all but not before they go through a few mine fields. They have not one test in their league because every team in their league is on the very low side of the ledger. ND, South Carolina, Louisville, Baylor, Texas, The Lady Vols., and Stanford are in leagues filled with land mines that could go off at anytime. The SeC will be a venture and could have two teams in the final 4. Boys and girls this in not granny's teams any more. Every contest you must bring your Sunday best or stay at home. This is good for the ladies' game.

True, but it works the same as football. There is less wear and tear on the team and it's easier to get up for just a couple of games. It's smart and keeps them near the top thus getting a good seed come tourney time.

UConn played Stanford, Baylor, Duke, Penn State and Maryland in their OOC schedule. Combine that with the 3 games against Louisville in the regular season, and UConn's schedule was as tough as Tennessee's.

Once you get to the bottom rungs of both teams schedules, it doesn't really matter that Auburn has a higher RPI than Georgetown or whatever. If Tennessee is banged up by tournament time, it's because they don't put teams away early. Stop playing down to their level, value every possession, and then your starters won't be worn out by post-season and your bench will have gotten valuable PT. It looks like they're doing a better job of that so far this season, so that's promising.
