16-16 all 23 seconds left

and this kick is right in the middle of the field; if he misses it I don't know what to say

Disgusting that a team that got dragged up and down the field by Temple is going to be in a BCS bowl game.

:dunno: end of the year conference champion's the team who makes it best through their gauntlet; that's all that really matters come week 14

It's a crying shame that people will have to watch UConn play in a BCS game, and there are people who say the BCS isn't wrong.

Va tech though also went 10-2....I'd have to say it's a bit of a different case.

Even in a 12 game season, 10 win season is still 10 win season. Been that way for a while

It's a crying shame that a four loss unranked team and a two loss champion from a conference ranked lower than the WAC and MWC with a loss to an FCS school will go to one.

Going undefeated in the ACC is about as impressive as Boise State going undefeated in the WAC. But they didn't go undefeated in that awful conference and they beat VT too. So I guess going undefeated in the WAC is even more impressive than going undefeated in the ACC. Bet VT couldn't do it... 0-1. :p

UConn, in all likelihood, is headed to the Fiesta Bowl to play the Big 12 Champion. VT will go to the Orange Bowl to play Stanford.

No, they will likely play eachother in the Orange. Fiesta picks last, but no BCS game would pick Stanford unless nobody was left and they had to which is what will happen to the fiesta.

The Orange, with a choice between an 11-1, Top 4 team and a 4-loss unranked team will go with the latter?

I mean, I guess UConn should theoretically travel better to Florida, but they only have like 6 fans anyway. Stanford has 12.

VT is legit good. I've watched every game. Sure, game 1 was a little embarassing, and the letdown attributed to their loss against JMU. Since then, they have improved every week - and I believe are a much better team than when we played them in the Peach last year.

UCONN(and the whole Big East) is an embarassment to D1 football. I constantly hear how WVU would finish Top3 in the SEC year in and year out. Amazingly, in big east country they typically think their conference is one of the toughest due to the round robin scheduling.

VT 40 - UCONN 10
