UF QB Jeff Driskel Injured

Driskel wasn't going to start

Wrong, as I said.

Negateer said:
Driskell was the better of the two. Just watch the Auburn game from last year.

hands down.

But you kept doubling down...

Brissett will be our starting QB, as he was running slightly ahead of Driskel before the injury.

lol nope

Again, Brissett was distancing himself from Driskel before the injury. The silver lining is Brissett will now get 100% of the reps in practice.

Again, you're wrong. And I was right.

When are you gonna come around and take yer crow for being such a homer and not listening to your betters?

Ding or no ding, if the season started today Brissett would be the starter.

lol

I wondered why you haven't been around here. Typical drive by troll.

Question is now if Driskel throws an INT or makes a bunch of bad throws in the Texas A&M game does Champ put Brissett in?

I think Muschump naming Driskel the "Starter" is literal. He will literally take the first snap of the game. I would guess we will still see both QB's playing Saturday at some point.

This

It becomes such a mess, switching the leader of your offense each possession based on a pass or two. I hate it.

Ah.

Given where their offense (specifically passing) is at, this is probably accurate. I could see UF bouncing one in after another unless one really sucks worst, or the other just gets better.

You're wrong a lot, so I could see why this is such a big deal for you.

Again, not everybody is a troll. You're annoying.

I have Negateer on ignore, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's responding to my posts about Brissett being ahead of Driskel prior to Driskel's injury.

Ya, he pretty much owned you.

Bless his heart, I'm sure it was the highlight of his day.

At some point in the future I'm sure I'll be wrong again....although Brissett did take the first snap at QB against Bowling Green...

link or it didn't happen, phyllis.

Again, there are lots of trolls around here. Of course, less and less with each win. You're annoying.

Of course I am. You made a fool of yourself, and tried to pass yourself off as some kind of insider with inside info. Turns out you were just some loser gator posting from his mom's trailer.

p.s. You're seeing my post when others quote it. So don't act like you didn't read it, lol.

Ya, he pretty much owned you.

Guys like him, who make obviously dumb statements, are easy targets.

:good!:

So, this QB situation that UF has going on is awesome.

Whoever is in will always be wondering when they will be yanked. They will be extremely cautious and not play as well as they could otherwise.

The team will suffer.

Personally, if i was Muschamp (I would shoot myself) I would start and only play Driskel. Give him the keys to the car - let everyone know it is his and he is the leader. By game 4 they will at least have some sense of continuity.

Looks like Muschamp is aware of the problems with a 2 QB system:

Coach Will Muschamp said Monday that Jeff Driskel will start Saturday's Southeastern Conference opener at Texas A&M, adding that "it's good to move forward with naming one guy and go with it."

Muschamp picked Driskel over fellow sophomore Jacoby Brissett partly because of Driskel's mobility.

"Just feel like Jeff with his legs gives us some different variables in our offense that can helps us as we move forward," Muschamp said. "So it'll be Jeff's game to play. I told Jeff, `I don't want you looking over your shoulder, but you need to play well."'

And it sounds like he is going to play Driskel all the way.

Muschamp busting out the words of encouragement by throwing his support behin Drisk... kids got legs...

Wow, there is a lot here that is missed?

I just have a question.

How much of a threat can Driskel be running the football. Obviously he is no Tebow, or even a Leak. But should there be any concern of him consistently picking up third and 5, or third and 3?

I just don't know how much of a runner he is and if we are game planning against it.
