But yeah, JDS looked superior for sure. I still think Carwin is capable of earning a title shot and knocking JDS, Brock or Cain out given the chance. The planets might have to align but he's capable of finishing it with one blow. He definitely lost tonight though.

Personally, I've been more impressed by Velasquez than JDS but they are all great fighters. Cain, JDS and Carwin could all beat each other on any given night. I know Brock beat Carwin but I think that's a fluke. It took Carwin getting gassed. Carwin smashed him as badly as Velasquez. I thought the Brock/Carwin fight should have been called when Carwin smashed him. - To be fair, I though this fight should have been called in favor of JDS. Carwin is lucky it went as far as it did.

Taking tonights fight into account, its clear they are gonna let the big boys go a little further b4 calling it. The brock fight was no worse than the first round tonight.

I agree. I was just saying that Carwin learned his lesson about cardio and I think he'd pick his punches/train to go longer next time. He was just so used to finishing fights in the first round and had never experienced it. I'd like Carwin in a rematch. Brock has all of the physical tools in the world but Carwin(despite losing) and Velasquez owned him.

I agree carwin would win a rematch against brock if given the chance. Its becoming clear that brock don't like taking punches. He gets scared and flustered if he gets a good shot. Which is disappointing cause he's so gifted physically. Brock needs to learn to be a fighter before he makes a dominant run again. Of course he can still dominate on the ground with about anyone he wants.
