9 days. Getting excited.

Mainly because I want football to get here and this is the only sport I have until then.

Forrest Griffin better watch out. Rua has won all of his rematches by knock out. Will be pulling for Shogun to get revenge in this one as well!

And the more I look at the card, the more I like it. The two fights leading up to the main event should be excellent. And the first two fights feature undefeated fighters. Good card top to bottom. Hopefully the fights will be as good as advertised.

What's a good site for streaming views? I have used one couple times and it cost maybe $4 or $5 dollars. It had great stream quality and it never dropped but the name escapes me, someone on here told me about the site but I've deleted the pm.

Do you have a junk e-mail account(I don't think I'd post my regular account on here personally) or AIM? I can shoot you a message with the stream I've been using for UFC fights.

Definitely rooting for Griffin over Rua. I think Shogun will win, but Griffin's just a great personality. I can't help but like him. Even when Jardine knocked him the F out his personality stole the show.

Nothing wrong with that. I've always thought Shogun was a class act as well though.

In a blog posting he made today on ESPN.com, former UFC light heavyweight champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua spoke for the first time about what he feels led to him losing his belt to Jon Jones at UFC 128 in March.
In spite of insinuations that his knee was bothering him and that he didn’t train properly for the bout as he seemed out of shape, Rua says it was simply a case of having a bad night and the fight not going his way.

“Really, in the Jones fight, what happened was I got hurt early on and I was having some trouble finding the right distance in the fight. I was also getting tired, and throwing leg kicks spends a lot of energy which is why I didn’t throw so many of them, and there was also the risk of being taken down; it was a combination of factors which stopped me from performing at my best,” he explained. “But whatever I did wrong in training for that fight, it doesn’t take Jones’s merits away and he was the better fighter that night. Some people think I was out of shape and are worried about my knees still being hurt after I had so much trouble with them. That isn’t the case — there’s nothing wrong with my knees, and they were 100 percent ready for that fight, as it was all cleared by the doctor. We made the biggest effort in doing my rehab as perfectly as possible and the UFC was kind enough to let me come back on a date that was proper to do it, according to the doctors. I have no injury excuses.”

He ponts out that it’s rare to go into a fight without any lingering injuries, no matter how minor, but says that heading into his UFC 134 bout with Forrest Griffin on August 27, he feels like he is 100 percent.

“As a professional fighter, you always have some injuries, even if they are minor. It’s impossible, or very rare, to go through a camp without any pain. Right now I’m 100 percent, without any injuries and ready to go, but we always have to work around pain and work around injuries, and as a fighter you are always trying to make the best of it.”

Says Bones was the better fighter that night and the loss had nothing to do with his knees or layoff. That's pretty classy for a guy who just lost his title and definitely could have used it as an excuse. Regardless, sounds like he's ready for this fight. I know I am! 4 hours!

WOWWW!

I can't believe the ref didn't call it sooner. He f'n killed that guy with 5 massive blows that weren't even needed.

Hopefully.

I'll be happy just as long as someone is finished.

That last fight was pretty good for going all 3 rounds. Pearson definitely gained a fan.

Any idea why Joe Rogan isn't commentating? Didn't even noticed until the start of the third fight that he wasn't. Lame because Rogan is awesome imo

Feelin an Anderson Silva beatdown with the entrance. Would be cool if the asian sensation finished him though. Just another fight where I'm pulling for someone to get knocked out. Although, I did want Shogun to win and after the Nog fight started, I found myself pulling for him. Oddly enough, I don't mind Big Nog but don't really care for Lil Nog. Idk why

Neither deserve to be champion based on that round. They better step it up because that was the worst round of the night.
