McD missed his chance and at this point in the fight it just comes down to who is the tougher brawler.

Well, I'll be going for Rory in a rematch should it ever happen. Lawler sounds like an idiot...

He just got his brains bashed in for your entertainment and then you have the nerve to call him an idiot? :pepper:

lol

Yeah, idk.

Just the way he talked... like a frat boy. Plus, he sounded like he was proud of himself from an outside perspective. Almost like he was building himself up as if someone else was saying it about him. I don't know, I just thought he came off as odd. It was a lot cooler when Stephens screamed and jumped into the crowd.

I am pretty sure if I was amped up at all and you put a mic in front of me, I would make a fool of myself.

Yeah, I make a fool of myself regularly. Really just something odd about someone talking about how great they are. He's the champion of his division so he can say it if he wants because he currently is the best apparently. Wont' always be, I prefer my fighters and athletes a little more humble. Personal preference I suppose. Doesn't mean he's a bad dude, I just don't need him to say he's great. We just watched him retain the title, people know he's good I'd say without him bragging about it :)

WTF are they putting us to sleep with this crap

I thought the intro to the song was pretty strong but then it got way more mellow. Made me wish they had played "Because I'm a cowboy! Wanted dead or alive!"

Fighters are rarely humble. Actually IMO, it's hard to find humble people in individual sports, period. You kinda force yourself to be wired that way.

Really? I feel like almost every fighter is humble. The few exceptions being dirtbags like Chael Sonnen, Brock Lesnar, Tito Ortiz, Michael Bisping... idk. A lot of them tend to be humble because they know the hard work they put in and that their opponent puts in the same hard work. Hmm.. I find it interesting you think UFC fighters for the most part aren't humble. They're always hugging each other after fights and saying what a great fighter their opponent was. It's rare do they just say "I'm the best, f that guy". Idk lol.

Main event 2!

Wow, Mendes is stupid. He just walked away and turned his head like he was walking away as if he were in the park. That whole finish looked staged as f....
