The fact that Rampage beat him that quickly is surprising, I will concede that point. Seriously though, was it that big of an upset? Everyone else seems to think so.

It ws an "upset" because casual fans didn't know who Jackson was... For people who followed MMA, It wasn't that big a shock.

yeah the sad thing is Jackson isn't even the best fighter in PRIDE. Fedor would own both of them.

Fedor is a HEAVYWEIGHT, fool.

I'm pretty sure that Fedor could handle Jens Pulver or BJ Penn too, if that's how you're comparing.

If you're going to make that statement, at least use Shogun Rua or Dan Henderson--fights that can (and WILL, in Hendo's case) happen.

The point was, Jackson is not the best fighter in Pride. He'd lost 3 of his last 9, before he went to the UFC. Losing twice to Silva, and to Yua.

Fedor is 6' and 227 lbs and Jackson is 6'1" and 205 lbs. It would be easy for Fedor to drop down to 205 lb, and own Jackson and Liddell both. Fedor's record is 27-1 and he's won 23 straight.

I thought the card was pretty good.

Jackson took Liddell out early, but it was 39.00 here.

all i know is i was f'n pissed..paid 50 dollars for that crap

What did you expect...Chuck and Rampage are both tremendous strikers...neither one of those guys was going to tap the other out...and it wasn't going to go to the judges cards...everybody knew, going into that fight, that one of those guys was going to knock the other one out.

I thought the card was great, top-to-bottom.

Starnes and Leban had a good fight. That's a solid win for Starnes.

Houston Alexander came out of nowhere, and hammered Keith Jardine (a -550 favorite in Vegas...huge upset)

Karo Parisyan looked great against Burkman...he seems poised to contend for a championship soon.

Terry Martin had another quick knockout.

Even Din Thomas and Jeremy Stephens had a good fight...nice debut for Stephens.

Houston Alexander absolutely beasted Jardine. I was really impressed by how quick Alexander knocked him out. Terry Martin is going to be really good in the 185 weight class.
